The Talladega Superspeedway and the Aaron's 499 did exactly what many thought it would: provide a heart-pounding race.
Kevin Harvick continued the tradition of winners making a last lap pass at Talladega, outrunning Jamie McMurray as they came to the finish line after three green-white-checkered finishes. Those laps meant that instead of the scheduled 188, fans were treated to 200 on Sunday afternoon.
McMurray had just enough fuel in the tank to hold off challenges from Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Jr. on the first GWC, then Greg Biffle on the second, but didn't have enough to block Harvick coming to the checkered flag.
