Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 2013: Live Results, Updates and Analysis

After an exciting short track race at Martinsville where we saw 17 cautions, Jeff Gordon was able to pass Matt Kenseth with only 23 Laps to go. He would hold off the rest of the field and won his first race of the season, and it's the first time since 2005 that Gordon has one at the Paperclip. When the race first started Johnson took an early lead but Kenseth was right behind him. Kyle Busch was also running up front for the earlier portion of the race. As the race continued though, cautions would come out and Kenseth began to struggle. He dropped to the back of the field at one point as Johnson maintained the lead.
