NASCAR in Las Vegas: 70 Laps In, Stewart Continues to Be the Leader

After two early caution flags that put some drivers on different pit cycles, the Kobalt Tools 400 from Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been under green flag conditions for the last 50 plus laps. After not pitting under the first caution, to stay out to be the leader, Tony Stewart continues to lead the race. We have made it through one round of green flag pit stops, that saw Stewart, Jeff Gordon and the rest of the drivers who hadn't pitted yet, come in about five laps prior to everyone else. As of lap 73, Kyle Busch has cut Stewart's lead down to half of a second.
