Formula 1: USF1 Request Delayed Entry Until 2011 Season

The USF1 team has officially requested the FIA to delay their entry into Formula 1 until 2011. There has been speculation over a merger between USF1 and Campos F1 teams in order to ensure that USF1 could make it to Bahrain, but the negotiations were unsuccessful. The team still insists that it is a serious outfit with intentions of making it into F1 next year and have even offered to write out a seven figure check to help get their point across.  While bad for USF1, this news is good news for Stefan GP who has already fired up their contenders and are eagerly awaiting admission into the 2010 season, having already completed negotiations with drivers Kaz Nakajima and Jacques Villeneuve.
