2010 Winter Olympics: Meet Bobsled Gold Medalist Kaillie Humphries

Kaillie Humphries helped make Canadian Olympic history when she became one of the two to win the first ever Bobsled medal for Canada. The prize came in the form of a gold medal on Wednesday, Feb. 24.   Humphries was born on Sept. 4, 1985 in Calgary, Alberta and has been competing since 2004. She has experienced success before, as she won silver in the mixed bobsleigh-skeleton team event at the 2008 FIBT World Championships in Altenberg, Germany and finished second overall in the 2009-2010 Bobsleigh World Cup, winning a gold medal with Heather Moyse in Altenberg, Germany.     “I’m not really looking at times.
