75-Year-Old Driver, Hylton, Hospitalized Sunday

Current ARCA ReMax Series driver, and former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver, James Hylton, was injured in an ARCA ReMax Series race at the North Carolina Speedway on Sunday. It was the running of the American 200, in Rockingham, North Carolina on Sunday. Hylton was injured in a crash on lap 147. He was taken to a near by hospital with an ankle injury. He was treated and released and is resting in his South Carolina home. Hylton, the 1966 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, rookie of the year, turned 75 in August, after making an attempt to qualify for the Daytona 500 in February.
