ARCA Re/Max Series Points Shake-Up Expected After Suspected Post-Race Penalties

Following the completion of the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA Fall Classic 200, things were looking great for Cunningham Motorsports. Dakoda Armstrong won his second career race while teammate Tom Hessert finished third, claiming the points lead, 10 points over Patrick Sheltra. However in post-race inspection as according to ARCA officials, both cars failed inspection due to not meeting the required roof height. Historically, the penalties equaled a fine of $10,000, along with the loss of 25 driver and owner’s points. If Hessert’s penalty follows suit, he will drop to second in points, 15 points behind Sheltra headed into the final two events.
