Austin Dillon, grandson of Richard Childress and son of racer Mike Dillon, was disqualified from the NASCAR Camping World Truck race at Talladega.Â
His No. 3 race truck failed post-qualifying inspection due to not meeting the height requirements.
Dillon will be replaced by Jennifer Jo Cobb, who had thought she was packing her bags to go back home after failing to qualify.
This is not the first time the 18 year-old Childress progeny has been disqualified from a race venue. Dillon's development team had a win taken away from them at Green Valley Speedway in the GVS Crate Nationals in July.
