Bahrain Grand Prix 2014: Live Lap-by-Lap Updates, Highlights, Report and More

Lewis Hamilton passed his teammate into the first corner of a very entertaining Bahrain Grand Prix and then just held him off for his second-straight victory. Nico Rosberg had qualified on pole and, unlike last weekend in Malaysia, managed to stay in touch with Hamilton for the early part of the race. The two teammates went wheel-to-wheel several times until Rosberg switched to the harder tyre and Hamilton started to pull away. A safety car—following a scary incident where Pastor Maldonado drove into the side of Esteban Gutierrez and flipped the Sauber—closed the gap. (Thankfully, Gutierrez seems to be OK.)
