Chevrolet To Venture Back Into IZOD IndyCar Series

Speed.com writer Robin Miller revealed yesterday afternoon that the IZOD IndyCar Series is in the final stages of negotiations with General Motors about bringing Chevrolet back into IndyCar Racing in 2012.  Miller added that an official announcement is expected to be made as early as Friday in Indianapolis. In perfect timing, IZOD IndyCar announced that there’ll be hosting a press conference on Friday at 10 a.m. EST at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. Serious talks have been going on between Randy Bernard and the Detroit automaker since last week.
