Creature vs. Creature Writers Pool: Results After Shelby American GT 350

Three races and two wins for Jimmie Johnson, while it has been three races and three wins for our Creatures. Johnson won for the second week in a row, 49th time in his career, after he was able to pull away from teammate Jeff Gordon with 16 laps to go in the Shelby American GT 350. Gordon had the dominate car all day long but was done in when he took two tires on his last pit stop while Johnson took four. Hometown heroes Kurt and Kyle Busch were on opposite ends of the spectrum at Las Vegas. Kurt started from the pole but wasn't able to lead a lap and finished 35th after being collected in a wreck not of his own doing.
