Dale & Daytona: Intimidator’s Presence Still Felt with Each New Victory

  No one loved the Daytona International Speedway more than the man in black, the Intimidator, Dale Earnhardt. Over the course of his career, Earnhardt won 34 races at the World Center of Racing—from IROC, to Nationwide races, then Budweiser Shootout’s, Gatorade Duels, and the Daytona 500 and July classics. Everything he sat in he won. He loved racing and he loved Daytona, both of which would take his life.
