Wednesday marks the return to the track for the stars of the Sprint Cup Series, after a two day break down in Daytona. The cars will be on track for two different practice sessions. The first one kicks off at 10:40 a.m. eastern time. The last time the cars took to the 2.5 mile super speedway, was Sunday for time trials. That session saw Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon lock themselves into the top two spots for Sunday's Great American Race. Earnhardt Jr. bumped his Hendrick Motorsports teammate from the top position with a lap of 186.089 mph (48.364 seconds).
