Daytona 500: Two Practices Are On Tap For Friday at Daytona

Two practice sessions highlight the day on Friday for the cars and drivers of the Sprint Cup Series, as they prepare for Sunday's running of the Daytona 500. With the field now set, the focus of the 43 drivers who will make up the starting grid turns to getting their cars tuned up for 500 miles of white knuckle racing. Kyle Busch and Kasey Kahne were the leaders of the two practices held on Wednesday, in preparation for the Gatorade Duels. Those were the first two practices that drivers ran under racing conditions. The most notable incident of those sessions, was pole sitter Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s wreck.
