Rubens Barrichello is back. And just when I was writing him off. The evergreen Brazilian pounced on an unforgivable mistake from the McLaren pit crew to snatch the victory from the grasp of Lewis Hamilton at the European Grand Prix in Valencia. And it really had to be earnt the hard way. Trailing Hamilton all race, Barrichello did an excellent job to hang onto the back of Heikki Kovalainen in the first stint, giving him the chance to leapfrog the Finn in the pits. He did so with relative ease, and was ready to threaten Hamilton. But for every blow that Rubens dealt Lewis, the world champion was matching him.
