Ferrari F1 Boss Luca Di Montezemolo to Resign in Face of Criticism

Ferrari's long-serving Formula One team president, Luca di Montezemolo, has announced that he will step down at the end of the month, according to Agnieszka Flak and Stefano Rebaudo of Reuters, in the wake of criticism from Sergio Marchionne, the chief executive of Ferrari's parent company, Fiat. Marchionne himself will assume the running of the F1 team in the wake of Di Montezemolo's departure. Speculation that the 67-year-old's job was under threat has been mounting throughout the summer.
