Formula One Australian Grand Prix Could Move to Sydney from Melbourne

Sydney could make a daring attempt to take the Australia Grand Prix from Melbourne, it's been announced, depending on the results of the New South Wales government election.   According to Andrew Carswell and Peter Rolfe of the Herald Sun (h/t Fox Sports), Premier Peter Baird will put forth a bid to make a "Sydney street circuit," which would include the Harbour Bridge as part of its course.Baird is quoted as saying:I want the Formula One to come to Sydney, because no other city in the world could provide a more spectacular backdrop for this event. We know that this event is watched by up to 30 million people around the world, and securing the Grand Prix would put our already successful events strategy in pole posit...
