IndyCar: Carnage Rains on Race in Sao Paulo

It was the perfect set up for a racing debacle, as the IndyCars lined up for their double file start on the winding track with the sheets of rain making the track one big wet slippery slide. The green flag dropped for the Itaipava Sao Paulo 300 and within seconds, havoc broke out with cars crashing and spinning. Helio Castroneves made contact with another car believed to be Dario Franchitti. Simona de Silvestro's car was on top of Danica Patrick's car, which had run over Tony Kanaan causing injury to his hand.
