J.R. Fitzpatrick Wins NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Race in Edmonton

On Sunday July 25, J.R. Fitzpatrick dominated the Canadian Tire 100 presented by Konica Minolta at the Edmonton City Centre Airport in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Fitzpatrick dominated the weekend on the 14-turn temporary road course as he led practice, qualified on pole, and led all 32 laps on route to his second victory of the year. “The car was really good today,” said Fitzpatrick on NASCAR Online. “We’ve been battling a handling problem all weekend, but it handled pretty well in the race.” With the win, Fitzpatrick sits at the top of the point standings, 31 points ahead of D.J.
