It was reported today that over the weekend, Jimmie Johnson was presented with the trophy for the 2010 driver of the year. The award is presented by the Driver of the Year Foundation, and has been presented to the top driver in motorsports for the last 45 years. The award was presented at the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in Talladega, Alabama, at their annual dinner. NASCAR president Mike Helton and Sarasota, Florida businessman Barry Schmoyer presented Johnson with the award.
