Kevin McDowell Released From Hospital After Scary Incident in the Pits

Late in the May 30 Coca-Cola 600, Roush Fenway Racing rear tire carrier Kevin McDowell was clipped by the No. 14 Tony Stewart Office Depot/Old Spice Chevrolet on pit road. Stewart was exiting his pit during green flag pit stops. The incident was caught live on Fox as the Stewart pit stop was being reported by Steve Byrnes and televised in the split screen.
