Larry Dixon, Bob Edwards, Mike Tasca, Michael Phillips Win NHRA Finals

The NHRA 41st Annual Lucas Oil Deep Clean Supernationals concluded on Monday at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey following a rain delay. Here are the results from Monday's final rounds in Englishtown: Larry Dixon defeated Antron Brown in Top Fuel as Dixon went a 3.824 at 320.05 mph, going a perfect six for six in final rounds this season. Brown went up in smoke running a 6.314 at 101.94 mph. Dixon collected the 54th win of his career and also won at Englishtown last June. Dixon has a 199-point lead over Tony Schumacher in the standings. Bob Tasca got a hometown win on Monday, scoring the Funny Car victory in his FordParts.com Ford Mustang Funny Car over Del Worsham on a holeshot. Tasca ran a 4.117 to Del's 4.107....
