Denny Hamlin overcame quite a bit of adversity on Sunday afternoon to win the myAFibRisk.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway and punch his ticket into the Contender Round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Hamlin, racing with a torn ACL in his right knee that will require surgery after the season, spun out on Lap 2 and fell a lap down, but a risky late-race decision to not pit under caution with under 10 laps remaining paid off as the 11 car took the lead on the restart and took it to the checkered flag. The win is the first of Hamlin's career at Chicagoland. Carl Edwards finished second. Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman and Matt Kenseth rounded out the top five.
