Kasey Kahne overtook a dominant Kevin Harvick showing in qualifying at Michigan International Speedway to take the pole for the Quicken Loans 400. It's the third pole triumph at Michigan International Speedway of Kahne's career and his first pole win of the season. He had to be on point to grab the pole, according to Yahoo Sports' Nick Bromberg, posting a 35.645-second lap: Harvick was the fastest in practice and picked up right where he left off in qualifying, doing so in a hurry, according to NASCAR Stats: Starting up front bodes well for Kahne.
