NASCAR at Texas 2016 Qualifying Results: Live Leaderboard Updates

Carl Edwards will be on the pole for Saturday's Duck Commander 500 after taking the top spot in Friday's qualifying at Texas Motor Speedway. It was the 17th career pole for Edwards, who won the last two of three qualifying rounds and had a top time of 27.748 seconds on the 1.5-mile track. Edwards is the seventh different pole-sitter in the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup season and the first to win multiple poles at TMS in the past 12 races. He held the pole in the November 2013 race but finished outside the top 10. Joey Logano and Martin Truex tied for second at 27.935 seconds, but Logano will get second position because of a points tiebreaker. The Duck Commander 500 will be shown Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on Fox.
