NASCAR: Did David Ragan Make a Big Mistake Going for the No. 22 Penske Ride?

With good rides in NASCAR getting fewer and fewer, a driver has to secure his job as soon as possible.  David Ragan appears to have missed his chance.Ragan ended his 2011 season losing his ride in the No. 6 Ford of Roush Fenway Racing.  UPS left the team to sponsor Carl Edwards as an associate sponsor.Even with Ragan almost winning the Daytona 500 and winning the Coke-Zero 400 in Daytona, Ragan could not get a sponsor to keep his job with RFR.He then shopped around and had the chance to take the seat of the No. 51 Chevy of Phoenix Racing.  That would have given Ragan the chance to be in good equipment, driving a Hendrick car. But then Ragan got greedy when Kurt Busch left the No. 22 Penske car.Ragan had a ride ...
