NASCAR in Las Vegas: Green Flag Has Waved, We Are Under Way

The national anthem has been sung, the command to fire engines has been given, and we are underway in the Kobalt Tools 400. The somewhat surprising front row of Matt Kenseth and Marcos Ambrose took the green flag and Kenseth jumped out to an early lead. Outside pole sitter Marcos Ambrose had trouble hanging with Kenseth at the drop of the green, and it was Kenseth's teammate, Greg Biffle, that was the early challenger to Kenseth. The Roush Ford's started off very strong as after four laps, three of the top four belonged to Jack Roush's stable.
