NASCAR: Officials Opt to Extend Offseason By a Single Week

NASCAR is going to extend their offseason by one week effective next year.Officials made the announcement earlier in the week. It is an easy adjustment as they will simply push the Daytona 500 back one week and eliminate the off week that has traditionally followed Daytona.Next year's Daytona 500 will be held on February 26th.NASCAR's Senior Vice President, Steve O'Donnell made the announcement.
