NASCAR: Track Activities Postponed Saturday at Talladega Due to Weather

Due to the severe weather that is hitting Alabama, Talladega Superspeedway officials have postponed all track activities for Saturday. A strong line of thunderstorms with the potential to produce tornadoes will be coming through the central Alabama area through Saturday night. Officials have elected to do a double-header for Sunday, with the Sprint Cup Aaron's 499 starting at Noon CT/1 p.m. ET. The Nationwide race will follow approximately an hour after the conclusion of the Cup race. In a release, Talladega officials said, "This decision was made based on advice from the National Weather Service and the Talladega County Emergency Management Agency."
