This year is Jeff Gordon’s final season in a stock car, and it was supposed to inspire the type of farewell reminiscent of John Elway or Michael Jordan in 1998. And, let’s face it, it still might, but things aren’t trending that way for Gordon. He has yet to win a race in 2015, and under prior racing rules that may not have been cause for alarm.
