Reid Takes Over at ESPN While Dr. Punch Heads Back To the Pit Action

ESPN has announced that there will be some changes to the way the 2010 NASCAR season will be announced, beginning with the NASCAR Nationwide Series opener at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, Feb. 13. Marty Reid, who has been with ESPN for the last 28 years, will increase his job duties and join analysts Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree in the booth as lap-by-lap announcer for ESPN’s 2010 NASCAR racing season. Reid will call the action for all 17 of ESPN’s NASCAR Sprint Cup races as well as many of the network’s NASCAR Nationwide Series telecasts.
