Ron Hornaday Jr.’s Heading to Martinsville with Winning on His Mind

Can you blame him? After all, Martinsville Speedway awards its race winners with a very cool looking grandfather clock and Horn's been chomping at the bit to win one for his trophy room. Ron Hornaday has made 14 starts at the track in the series, has compiled five top fives, eight top 10 finishes, one pole, and has led 177 laps. His best finish was second—this past spring—but his best race was in 2008, when he dominated and led 154 laps before miscalculating a fuel mileage and finished 29th.
