Rusty Wallace Closes Nationwide Series Team, Lays off Employees

In a simply shocking turn of last-minute events, FoxSports and other outlets reported that NASCAR legend Rusty Wallace announced today that his NASCAR Nationwide Series teams, Rusty Wallace Inc., (RWI) that fielded the No. 66 car for Rusty's son, Steven and the No. 62 Pilot Travel Centers car for Michael Annett, will not be on the racetrack next season and that he has laid off the employees of his race team. Wallace said the decision to close RWI was an extremely tough one.
