Earning back-to-back stage wins for the second time in his season, Jorge Lorenzo built upon the success achieved at Silverstone a fortnight ago with a triumph in San Marino on Sunday. BBC Sport confirmed the news: The Spaniard, using Yamaha’s new seamless shift gearbox for the first time in a Grand Prix this year, recorded a time of 44 minutes and 5.522 seconds to grab his fifth victory of the year.
