Sarah Fisher Racing: The Little Team That Can

With her hands seemingly folded in prayer, car owner Sarah Fisher stood trackside watching her driver, Ed Carpenter, turn some awfully quick laps in a light drizzle trying to make the Fast Nine qualifying shootout at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Carpenter, who had been one of the fastest drivers throughout the week of practice, did not disappoint, turning in the sixth fastest time of the day at that point with a 226.171 mph run.  His team and the crowd went wild.   The qualifying run for a spot in the 100th anniversary Indianapolis 500, was especially sweet for Carpenter who is driving his first race of the season.  It was also just as meaningful for Sarah Fisher Racing, which is competing in its first race of ...
