Tony Kanaan In, Paul Tracy Out: Field of 33 Set After Exciting Bump Day at Indy

The drama of Indianapolis can make or break a driver and teams. The pressure was on Sunday as several drivers needed to get into the Indianapolis 500-mile race. In the end, 33 dreams came true and four dreams were crushed, as Milka Duno, Paul Tracy, Jay Howard, and Jaques Lazier were bumped from the Indy 500 field. The day started early as Tony Kanaan crashed in the morning practice in turn one at almost the same spot as he did in his qualifying run. Kanaan was able to get into the field after running in practice all day. He got into the field in the final hour and will start 32nd on the grid for the 500.
