During the NASCAR offseason, most of us take to watching other sports.

If you don't like other sports, you stare longingly at your countdown to Daytona clocks (53 days as of now).

But there is a huge plus to the offseason I was reminded of while running errands today: cheap merchandise.

At any given race, haulers are swarmed by fans getting the most recent t-shirts, hats, shot glasses, flags, blankets, bumper stickers, teddy bears—you get the picture. You name it, it has your favorite driver's name, logo, number, face, or car on it.

Everything is so expensive though!

I am currently wearing my one and only Dale Jr. sweatshirt. It cost $65.

Do I love it? Sure. Is it worth $65? That's debatable.
