Wolfgang Von Trips was a German nobleman and Formula 1 racer. His career statistics don't make overly impressive reading. He only scored 56 points and earned just two race victories. But what everyone agrees on is that he could of been a multi-time world drivers champion. This is a man whose statistics hide the ability he had.  His Formula 1 career technically started in 1956 when he entered the Italian Grand Prix. After crashing during practice, Von Trips was injured and was unable to take the grid.
