Ryan Briscoe Fastest In Watkins Glen Practice

Ryan Briscoe in the No. 6 Team Penske Dallara Honda Firestone was fastest in Friday's first practice session for the IZOD IndyCar Series at Watkins Glen. Briscoe's time of 1:31.4143 at 132.714 mph was followed by teammate Helio Castroneves. Scott Dixon, Dan Wheldon, and Justin Wilson, last year's winner, rounded out the top five. The 3.37 mile Watkins Glen Road Course always provides exciting racing, and this weekend should see plenty of it with the IndyCar Series. Practice and qualifying will continue Saturday with the Peak Performance Pole Award up for grabs.
