On a cold day on the first of March of the year 2010, an Empire was born that has slowly begun to change the NASCAR world. It is not related to the Hendrick Empire. Or the Roush Empire. Or the Gibbs Empire.

No, I am talking about the birth of the glorious Paul Menard Empire.

Three races into the 2010 Sprint Cup Season, Paul Menard found himself sitting in 17th in the points standings. Across the country, debates raged questioning, how could this be?
